Beyond the courtroom, I am an active member of the Nevada Justice Association, participating in activities that strengthen the plaintiff bar here in Las Vegas.
When I'm not advocating for my clients, you'll often find me outdoors, exploring nature through hiking, a newfound family favorite. I'm also an unabashed tech geek, keeping a pulse on the latest gadgets, games, and technologies. And, of course, I'm an avid sports enthusiast, passionately following the Chicago Cubs and the Vegas Golden Knights during baseball and hockey seasons.
Above all, my primary aim is to make a positive impact on people's lives. While accolades and awards have their place, I hope to be remembered not for the recognition but for the individuals I've helped along the way. It's an honor to serve as an advocate for justice and a source of support for those who need it most.

Hello, I'm Andrew Barton. Though I grew up in Idaho, my entire legal career has unfolded here in Las Vegas.
In law school, I developed a particular interest in tort law, sensing that it was an area where I could make a real difference. My initial job as an attorney in Las Vegas was in defense law, where I found myself defending home builders in complex construction defect cases. While this experience taught me valuable lessons, it also reaffirmed my calling to personal injury law and representing plaintiffs. After two years in the defense world, I transitioned to plaintiff injury work, and I've never looked back.
Joining LJU Law Firm feels like a homecoming of sorts. James and I started our legal careers at the same defense firm, and over time, we've built a lasting friendship. I've witnessed James evolve into an outstanding trial attorney, and I genuinely believe that our team, equipped with our collective experience in Las Vegas, can provide unparalleled representation to injured plaintiffs.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of handling a diverse range of injury cases, spanning from car accidents to premises liability, product defects, and insurance bad faith claims. Any case where a defendant or insurance company tries to unfairly shift blame onto a plaintiff ignites my passion. I firmly believe in the principle of fairness, and when people deviate from that, it drives me even harder to ensure justice prevails.
While I've been fortunate to secure multi-million dollar settlements in various cases, my proudest moments often stem from smaller cases where I've safeguarded my clients' rights and ensured they were treated fairly.
